Coventry are visiting

Jersey are looking forward to welcoming visiting side Natonal 1 side Coventry to St Peter with a consolidated performance after last weeks outing against the Leicester Tigers.
The two sides will be playing again after first meeting in National League One in the 2011/2012 Season.
Jersey won bothe mathces against Coventry in the Season. The Home match i29 - 3 and the promotion securing win in April 37-13.
Barry Davies will be recieving a warm welcome back to St Peter, after his move to Coventry this summer. Davies joins fellow Welsh internationals player-coach Scott Morgan and fly-half Matt Jones.
After last weekend's defeat against Leicester Tigers, Ben Harvey, says he was "humbled" by Leicester's starting line-up:
"It was amazing that they put out such a strong side for us, but we relished the opportunity to play such formidable opponents. We were very pleased about the first half as we kept the score down to a modest level. For Drew Locke to have scored a good try was terrific.
"I thought some of the individual performances were extremely good but, although we started out strong, defensively we lost some shape as the game went on. We have several areas we need to improve on, but overall we were playing against some of the best players in European rugby."
Tickets are available from the Club Shop at St. Peter (10am - 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays). Tickets are also available from The Jersey Evening Post offices at Five Oaks 8.30am-5pm Monday-Friday and Red Properties on the Esplanade, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Adult tickets cost £5, whilst Under 17s will be admitted free (proof of age may be required).

I think Coventry was one of Donovan Sanders old clubs. If that is the case it would be a good opportunity for the Club to make a formal announcement and presentation on the pitch.
When this was agreed, Donovan was adamant that he didn't want any song-and-dance about his departure from the 1st XV squad. That makes it tricky to arrange something knowing that the person concerned would rather it wasn't happening. Personally I agree with other posters' views on his contribution over the years: great servant to the club but became a slightly marginal figure last season and, with another year on the clock and some injury worries, as well as increased competition from the new faces, it was probably the right call...
