Bottom club Richmond arrive at Goldington Road this week fighting for their lives and needing a win to overhaul Hartpury College .
The "students" benefitted hugely from their surprise 28-26 win over the Blues two weeks ago, and if we want to stand any chance of ovehauling Jersey to take third place we cannot afford any more generosity.
Wit that in mind we make five changes. Matt Worley and Lewis Robling are in the backls with Sean McCarthy and Alex Penny coming into the front row and Oli Curry into the second row.
Blues: 15. Rich Lane 14. Ryan Hutler 13. Matt Worley 12. Lewis Robling 11. Dean Adamson 10. Will Hooley 9. Lee Dickson (capt) 1. Sean McCarthy 2. Charlie Clare 3. Alex Penny 4. Oli Curry 5. Mark Flanagan 6. Justin Blanchet 7. Josh Buggea 8. Jarad Williams
Reps: Jacob Fields, Hayden King, Ben Cooper, Will Carrick-Smith, Huw Worthington, James Lennon,. Jake Sharp

I suspect I am alone on this but in my own ideal world that I wish Ampthill a five point win today.....and would not be surprised to see Richmond run in four tries against us......and even win....am I correct that even if we lose we remain fourth....
Not sure why any supporter would want to go to a game and hope to see their team lose. Personally I hope we run in 4 tries and I am sure the players feel the same.
Many thanks for offer of worldwide travel, albeit as far as Ampthill...........but I will have to decline, as you will find me next season as in past years sitting my seat with my season ticket in my pocket shouting long and loud for the Blues as I did yesterday.........
In my post I stated that I would not be surprised if Richmond would run in four tries .....or even win ......which they nearly did.....even this topics heading warned of it.......
Agreed Luton sad to see the Richmond players lose heart......dare I say a true rugby club with real rugby shirts (hoops or stripes?) with real supporters who sadly will be going down at the end of the season........
I, too, will be sorry if Richmond are relegated. They are a proper rugby club (with proper rugby union shirts! and a proper name) whose values are to be commended. Hartpury, on the other hand.....
Bedford could well have lost this game had there been another couple of minutes left on the clock. We really do not have the knack of shutting games down in the closing stages.
A win, five points secured and third place reclaimed but I'm still unhappy!
I’ll be visiting ampthill next season, blues will always be my club but local clubs need support too. It’s good for the country to see our supporting clubs succeed including the hatters
I agree Richmond are a proper rugby club! Like us!
I didn't think Richmond lost heart at the end I agree with Yaffle another couple of minutes and they may well have won.It was the same with the Leeds game we just can't seem to close a game down.
Richmond got 2 points yesterday hopefully Glouspury will get nothing at Irish today so it could go to the last game. Much rather go to Richmond than Hartpury.
