Blues Hit By Yellows

Down to 13 men we almost made it to the final whistle to earn an honourable draw but Coventry played the numbers game with scrum half Tom Kessell scoring to clinch the game 26-19.
We had to be content with a losing bonus point after Matt Worley had scored two excellent tries to give us a 19-12 lead at the break.
Both sides were guilty of missing pens, which is why we went into the closing stages level after Coventry's Will Maisey scored the only try of the second half.
Nip and tuck became backs to the wall as first Dan Temm then Karl Garside saw yellow in the dying minutes.
Coventry seized their chance, but there was enough from Blues to encourage everyone back at Goldington Road where we host Ealing Trailsifnders under lights on Friday night.
