Blues Fall At The Last

Coventry denied Blues the perfect end to a fabulous season with a 19-43 win in front of a packed Goldington Road.

It was yet another entertaining game and a great advert for an under-appreciated Championship.

Cov were clinical and deserved their win as Blues were guilty of trying too hard to entertain.  Nevertheless, skipper Rich Lane showed his class with two excellent tries with the other coming from Dean Adamson, while Will Maisey'sboot clinched his place as the league's top kicker.

So many reasons to be cheerful and roll on September.
