Epi On The Wing

A confident Rob Andrew has given Grenoble 48 hours notice of the side to take them on at KP on Sunday [Kick off 2.30]. Not that there are any surprises as we already knew that Epi has been restored to the wing ... albeit temporarily .. and Vyvyan stays in the back row.

This is the line up:

Falcons: 1. Micky Ward 2. Steve Brotherstone 3. Marius Hurter 4. Stuart Grimes 5. Craig Hamilton 6. Jon Dunbar 7. Richard Arnold 8. Hugh Vyvyan 9. Hall Charlton 10. Jonny Wilkinson (Capt) 11. Epeli Taione 12. Tom May 13. Jamie Noon 14. Michael Stephenson 15. Liam Botham

Reps: 16. James Isaacson 17. Matt Thompson 18. Soa Otuvaka 19. Phil Dowson 20. Rob Devonshire 21. James Grindal 22.Phil Godman

The side certainly looks better balanced with Vyvyan and Arnold in the back row, and we now have potency on both wings with Epi and Stevo out there.

The chances are that Jonny will give way to Phil Godman if we build up a decent lead. Phil is fresh out of the Under 21's but is a promising talent, and is being brought along carefully to step into JW's kicking boots once the great man heads off with England.
