Captain Grimes

Stuart Grimes will lead out Scotland against the Barbarians this weekend to round off a season where he has become one of the best locks in the world. The 6ft 5in Aberdonian had his critics at the beginning of the campaign but has won them over.

He's also scored some superb tries and if he makes a decent fist of leading his country it might even qualify him to talke over at Falcons next season

Although that's a vacancy which Jonny Wilkinson may well think belongs to him.

Its a young and experimental side mostly drawn from the Scottish clubs.
