One of our youngest ever match reporters provides his insight into the simple game that is Rugby Union. The advantage of youth is the lack of egotism in truly reflecting the joyous game being played in front of a bunch of expectant Supporters. Could the Times do better?
You'll see clearly he's noted field position and phases of play, with colour-coded notation: LI in green, Leeds in yellow, the refs in red and his feelings on the play at hand in blue.
It is clear that London Irish held the upper hand after a spirited 1st quarter by Leeds.
As you can see, he actually preferred drumming but is, at this very moment, putting his Match report through Baby-lFish. We hope to have his translation shortly.
