CEO's Statement

July 30 2002
The LISC have today published a statement from Richard Sanderson in response to the LISC questionnaire which was carried out some months ago. The LISC have also issued their response to the statement.
30th July 2002 To: The London Irish Supporters Club. As you all know, it has been a key objective of mine since joining London Irish last year to have an open two way dialogue with as many of our supporters as possible. I believe the L.I.S.C. is a critical part of the club’s communication chain in understanding the views and issues of our fans. To be honest I was not completely surprised by any of the issues which were raised as part of the Supporters Survey, in my view it clearly demonstrates the need for London Irish to communicate more effectively and more regularly with all interested parties. I hope, that over the next 12 months all supporters will see many significant improvements in the ‘London Irish Experience’ at the Madejski Stadium, but I must emphasise that we are tenants and in many cases can only provide or improve upon the infrastructure that is currently available. May I take this opportunity of thanking all of our London Irish Supporters for both their past and continuing support in our ambition to become one of the leading European Rugby businesses. Best Regards Richard Sanderson Chief Executive
