ComeAllWitihin Premiership Predictions League

At the beginning of the season many of the message board regulars submitted their predictions for the final standings in the 2002/3 Premiership. The predictions are to judged using an inordinately complex scoring system, created by PerryGo to test my Excel capabilities to the limit...

Eventually, techie that I am, I managed to construct a sheet that would cope with the following rules:

For every team whose finishing position you predict correctly, you get 10 points. If you are one place away, up or down (e.g. you predict Quins to finish 6th and they finish 5th or 7th) you get 8 points. Two places away, you get 6 points. Three places away, 4 points. Four places away, 2 points.

In addition, you nominate two teams as 'wild cards' to do better than predicted. If they are one place better, you get 2 points; two places, 4 points; three places, 6 points; four places, 8 points; 5 places, 10 points

The current standings based on current league positions, should be visible below.
