The Heineken Cup is finally with us, and many of the games can be seen live on television this weekend. Due to time constraints I have concentrated only on the live games in the Heineken Cup, but I will include details of other relevant programmes in future weeks.

Leinster Lions take on Bristol at Donnybrook.
SATURDAY
Gloucester v Munster – BBC1 Grandstand – 14.40 onwards – kick off 15.00
Action from Castle Grim – can Gloucester keep up their 100% home record?
Cardiff v Biarritz – S4C – 17.10 – kick off 17.30? – SKY 184
The other game in our group, commentary in Welsh, subtitles in English.
Toulouse v London Irish – Eurosport – delayed coverage at 18.30 – SKY 412
Delayed coverage of this game in which Toulouse will start strong favourites to get their campaign off to a winning start.
SUNDAY (WHY?!)
Saints vs Ulster – Eurosport (SKY 412) and BBC2 Northern Ireland (SKY 962) – kick off 16.30
Set the video so you can relive the highlights of the afternoon again when you get home.
