Well, when we win in France then the numbers below will be irrelevant but...

2pts or more from the game away to Castres, we have a home QF (so yes, a draw would do it)
1pt v Castres, then at least 4 out of the 5 scenarios below needs to happen elsewhere to deny us a home QF;
1) Toulouse gets a draw (or 2pts) or better away to Wasps or 1pt and matches the no. of tries we score in wk6
2) Leinster win away at Racing Metro
3) Ulster get a bonus point win away at Aironi and score 5 tries more
than us in wk6 and/or Biarritz gets a bonus point win over Bath and
scores 2 more tries than us in wk6
4) Leicester get a bonus point win at home to Treviso and/or Perpignan get a bonus point win at home to the Scarlets
5) Toulon get a bonus point win away to the Ospreys and score 3 tries more than us in wk 6
If we get 0pts v Castres, then at least 4 out of the 5 scenarios below needs to happen elsewhere to deny us a home QF;
1) Toulouse get 1pt or more away to Wasps, or get 0pts but matches the no. of tries we score in wk6
2) Leinster win away at Racing Metro or get a draw (or 2pts)and score no worse than 2 tries less than us in wk6
3) Ulster get a bonus point win away at Aironi and/or Biarritz beat Bath
at home and scores 2 more tries than us in wk6, or Biarritz gets a
bonus point win over Bath
4) Leicester win and score a try at home to Treviso, or win and don't
score a try and we score fewer than 3 tries away to Castres and/or
Perpignan beat the Scarlets at home
5) Toulon beat the Ospreys away and score 3 tries more than us in wk6

Sorry DS I'm in the camp (possibly on my own) who prefers to wait and see what actually happens. "take each game as it comes" as they say . A win in Castres is I believe a home quarter. Who against ? who cares!
I remember last year on the final weekend we were watching aall the other results. There was one game when we were in then out then back in again all within a few minutes. Is a good feeling that at least we are in the mix. Winning would be most acceptable
A happy afternoon in the Curraghower on the banks of the Shannon where by the end of the game not only did we have some of the Munster coaching staff cheering on Leinster but we also had them singing Oh Wendy.
Thanks for the effort Dorset Saint - although if we fail to win on Saturday I'm not looking forward to going through all the alternatives with a hangover on Sunday morning.
