A sort of match day thread: saints v Wasps

By Saint Ted
March 20 2020

With no rugby for a few weeks, I thought we would take a look back at the corresponding fixtures from last year.  (I know this is going up a day early but we need an article every 14 days and today was the 14th day!)

I'm not entirely sure how to approach this, do I put the match result in the article or not? I'm going with not for this one, so people can revisit the match.

Let me know what I can change for next week, I've decided against embedding the video as it gets a bit weird when using the mobile app, I've had a look on an iPhone and a Galaxy and they behave very differently.

First up Saints v Wasps.

This match was played on 17th November 2018, how would we compare it to this year?

Video of full match:  Premiership Rugby

Text Commentary: Northampton Saints

Match Report: BBC (Couldn't get the saints one to open for some reason)

Before anybody points out that the picture is from the wrong match, I couldn't find one from the right match that I could be certain wasn't copyrighted!

Well played lads. 5 points in the bag. Moment of the match for me was that fizzing reverse pass by Cobus from the base of the ruck to give Harry his 3rd try. COYS
This was today’s match*.

A win makes this thread a futile exercise. A loss always generates far more posts!!
