Weekend TV Rugby 8th - 11th January

Thanks to Chris for sending this over...

This week starts with a Pro 2 game on Thursday evening. This is on Youtube

Then we get into another European weekend, with the biggest game involving Saints in Bordeaux on Sunday at 3.15pm. A repeat of last years final, Saints will want to even things up. If they can not do that then a couple of bonus points would help. Our league is finely balanced. I hope that Bulls beat Bristol on Saturday, but then next week Bristol could do us a favour against Bordeaux if necessary.

All the Champions cup games seem to be covered and quite a few of the Challenge cup games

I may have missed a couple but counted, In total 22, games.

As many others, I chose to subscribe to Discovery for the Prem but not the Prem channel for the european games. I’ll be listening on radio noddy to this one. Does anyone know where to pick up either the highlights or replay first? I’ll end up trawling Youtube for it on Monday otherwise!

Rugby24.net still seem pretty reliable for highlights and match replays. Highlight usually 12hr and full match 24hrs after the match.

Sometimes sooner so worth keeping an eye out.

Having said that, there are always websites that show dodgy streams, just depends how good your vpn and anti-virus is

I’m on Virgin and managed to get Premier sports for £1 a month for two months before it rises to £16.99 per month. I will probably cancel it before it rises, or when I don’t need it.
30 days notice.
Coincidentally, I just got my Virgin bill which showed a rise of £50 per month. Having done the live chat, I’ve managed to get it back down to a very similar price. Phew.

The Prem rugby channel is now (as of today) FOC for all Virgin TV customers on 553. Note is Prem rugby only, not Prem 1 or Prem 2, but that's good for this weekend at least

Darn it. That was good of the Virgin representative or chat person to tell me then! Still only a pound a month but I’ll cancel it fairly soon.
Edinburgh V Gloucester just started.

Please let it be this kind of Bristol that entertains Bordeaux! If we win tomorrow, it will be very squeaky bum time for UBB next week, as Bristol are three from three and will surely want to be four from four.

And if we lose tomorrow, we need to make sure we limit the damage and pick up bonus points. It's great for us that Bristol-Bordeaux will be very far from being a dead rubber.
