Fourth week of the season, and still looking for our first decent returns of the season - what's happening out there?! Ever hopeful, ever confident, ever skint, Wellsaint and No 10 bring you the lowdown on this weekend's games.

ZURICH PREMIERSHIP BETTING PREVIEW WEEK 4

Well, it's been a cracking start to the season
betting-wise - NOT! As the song goes "Things can
only get better" - hopefully starting this week.


Saturday's games

Leicester v Sale (live on Sky - k.o. 2.45pm)

One of the keys to this game is which Sale will turn up - the one that gave us a shock, or the one that lost to Newcastle? Sale don't seem to travel very well.

Leicester have been winning - albeit narrowly - and this should be the third home win of the season. Come in No 10 thinks the Tigers by eight -I would say a little further, by twelve.

One comment that No 10 made on this game is that it looks like Tigers have been warming up to give someone a beating.
The point deduction may well concentrate minds that little bit harder....


Rotherham v Northampton (k.o. 3.00)

Without being disrespectful to Roth, this must surely have been marked as a banker for Saints when the fixture list came out. Saints win against Wasps will have boosted confidence.
For Roth, winless in three, even at this early stage of the season it's looking like mission critical. Saints will be boosted by the return of the Hurricane and should blow Roth away - winning by around eighteen points (Come in No 10 goes for a fifteen point margin.)


Sunday's games

Wasps v Bath (live on Sky, k.o.2.00pm)

Come In Number 10 feels that home advantage will swing this game although Wasps will have to be up to stratch in the scrum - and goes for a 2 point home win - I'd say a five point home win - but Wasps will need to be on top of their game.

London Irish v Leeds

What's happening to Leeds this season? Neither of us can figure it out - we both have Irish down to win this - No 10 by 12 points and myself by seven.

Newcastle v Gloucester

Come In No 10 is strong on Gloucester and fancies them to prevail by 10 or more points. I am a little more cautious - an away loss at Irish, a flattering home win against Sarries (who squandered try scoring chances) - Gloucester to win, but for me, a small margin of four points.

Saracens v Harlequins

Final game... and disagreement on the result.

Come on Number 10 fancies Quins by 5, although points out that Sarries' inconsistency and Quins' poor away form makes this difficult to call with any level of confidence.

I fancy Sarries by seven - home advantage against a team historically weak on the road - and because, with better finishing, Sarries would
have run Gloucester far closer than they did.

I also feel that the points deduction may once more concentrate minds.

Remember, the value of your investments can go down as well as down. (Sorry, should there be an "up" in there somewhere?) Here's hoping this weekend is better than the first three.
