Not content with one poetical contributor, more and more are getting in on the act. Here are the latest contributions from the message board lyricists.
West Midlands Saint
Streets of London - Ralph McTell
Have you seen the Waspies
All a-leaving the McAlpine
Packing up their cases with their worn out shirts
Hope they've paid the rent up front
And though they're good, I must be blunt
Sat'dee the Jimmies will rub them in the dirt.
So how can you tell me we're strugglin'
And rue the day of the Powergen.
Follow Jimmies to the Bush
And watch them whoop the Wasps of London.
Saints'll show you something
To make you change your mind.
West Midlands Saint
The Wizards of Nuthamptun.
We're off to see the Jimmies
Those wonderful boys from St James
We hear they're up against the Wasps
That's really the silliest name.
A bunch of pests, a horrible lot
Tomorrow Saints'll give 'em a swat
And five more points are in the bag HOORAY!
The Jimmies'll run in a load of tries.
We're off to see the Jimmies
The wonderful boys of St James.
West Midlands Saint
This rather short, very sad rhyme
Is to wish you a really good time
In Brizzle tonight
For that beautiful sight
Of the Saints playing Rugby sublime.
I can't even listen it seems
Though to watch EVERY match is my dream
But I've tickets you see
For a play - MISEREEEEE!
So please - extra noise for the team!
Have a great night everyone!
I'm so jealous!
COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
St. Marlowe
A Ditty Pour Ollie
To be sung with elan and a French accent
A Frenchman came unto the Gardens
Our enemies for to stuff
He soon became our favourite player
As our opponents he did duff
He was feared throughout the Premiership
No lock better in the ZP
Allez Brouzet
Allez Brouziet
Marchon, Marchon, mon brave Olivier
Allez Brouzet
Man of countless matches
Darling of the Tetleeee
His country called him home again
How we’ll miss him, constantly
But we’ll have him back to visit
With Montferrand in the HC!
Au ‘voir Olivier
Au ‘voir Olivier
Marchon, Marchon, mon brave Brouzet
Au ‘voir Olivier
COME ON YOU SAINTS
West Midlands Saint
I tord I sor a puddy tat
A cweepin' up on me.
But wait, dat's not a puddy tat
It's Jimmies dat I see.
Wiv razor claws and big sharp teef
Dat fills my heart wiv dreads
Tomorrow dis poor Budgie's gonna
Be torn into shreds.
COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
West Midlands Saint
This week I can't think of an ode
Till my mind can once more be bestowed
With renewed inspiration
To mark my salvation
And set me back on the right road
First off we'll be seeking revenge
Yes our Twickers defeat we'll avenge
Let's heed Smudger's call
Go and watch Irish fall
Though we're taking the field without Benj
The new Zurich Champs we'll be crowned
And I wouldn't mind betting a pound
That you'll find few mourners
When we whoop Pooh Corners
Posse - upon their home ground.
Then to Twickers we all will return
To pick up that bright silver urn
In achieving our quest
We will hammer those Pests
Yes my friends - I can feel the worm turn.
COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
West Midlands Saint
I am hoping to go to Brizzle but HAVE TO KNOW where you chaps will be in the ground. If I have to sit with the Sixfields Refugees again I will not be responsible for my actions.
If I get my seats straight from the club
And arrive full of beer and good grub.
To meet the same farce
As they talk out their bottoms
I'd much sooner stay in the pub.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Binary Bob
I've gone for the Centenary Stand,
The view I'm told is quite grand,
I will have with me,
Juniors Connect and BB,
So please keep all verbals quite bland.

I have no cunning plan,
To aspire to poetic man,
But by WMS inspired,
My brain gets wired,
To write in lines that scan!
