Rhinos v Wolves
By Editor
April 22 2015

Warrington Wolves travel across the M62 on Friday night to face league leaders Leeds Rhinos hoping to make amends for last weeks 30-20 defeat to Wigan Warriors. The Rhinos will be looking to continue there charge towards League Leaders trophy.

Leeds Rhinos are the form team in 2015 meaning the Wolves will need to be on top of there game if they are to leave Headingley with the 2 league points. The Wolves are the only team so far this season to inflict defeat on the Rhinos and will hope to complete a league double over the Yorkshire men come friday night.

Last weekend the Rhinos were outstanding in a 41-16 away victory over St. Helens whilst the Wolves fell short against Wigan. Victory for the Wolves will be a boost for the side who do seem to be lacking in confidence. Warrington do have the strenght to match the Rhinos but its the finishing touches and the kicking game that has so far let the Wolves down in 2015.

At the start of 2015 the Wolves were odds on to register a first league championship success in over 50 years but have so far failed to show any real sign of intent that this could be the year that Warrington break that hoodoo and finally say "its our year"

There are still lots of points to play for this season and no doubt head coach Tony Smith will not be panicking just yet!

Here is the Wolves 19 man squad:

15   Roy Asotasi
3     Chris Bridge
9     Daryl Clark
17   Ben Currie
19   Anthony England
13   Ben Harrison
14   Micky Higham

28   Toby King
18   James Laithwaite
5     Joel Monaghan
7     Richie Myler
20   Gareth O’Brien
22   Gene Ormsby
29   Declan Patton
24   Kevin Penny
6     Stefan Ratchford
10   Ashton Sims
12   Ben Westwood

Referee: James Child
