Building For Next Season
Great to see that Blues are already building for next season as we look to put this season behind us. Lee Dickson looks a great catch as player coach while Welsh winger Chris Czekaj is an interesting signing - bringing both pace and experience.
And so the curtain came down at Goldington Road .... at least the last home game of a poor season saw us run in some good tries against top opposition in second placed Carnegie .....
Where did the winter go? It's the last home league game of a season we might want to forget - at least let's wind things up by putting a shot across the bows of one of the high flyers...
Too Little Too Late
We have been waiting all season for the Blues to turn it on. The 44-21 victory at Scottish was very welcome but not witnessed by too many Blues supporters who have had to endure our least successful season for a long time ...
Hopefully the big defreat by Saints last week will have sharpeneed the appetite for a revenge win over Scottish as league action resumes ..
