Last Game

Luke Baldwin will play his final game against league leaders London Welsh at Goldington Road so let's hope it is a memorable one for him and for us ...

The on loan Sarries player has opted for a contract at Bristol where he obviously feels his career will be better served. Sad for Blues supporters, however that is the reality at the moment.

It leaves us looking for another scrum half, but at least we have the prospect of an Argentinian prop to bolster the pack, once Tomas Gilardon Paz is registered.

The tighthead qualifies because he has played for the Pumas in games against Chile, Uruguay and Brazil. He'll be shown off at the London Welsh game, and, by all accounts, has quite a presence.

We could do with some of that on the pitch against the top side, and these are the boys who have the challenge of getting two wins in a row.

Blues: Mike Le Bourgeois, Patrick Tapley, Brendan Burke, Ollie Dodge, James Short, Mark Atkinson, Luke Baldwin, Darren Fearn, Charlie Clare, Ben Cooper, Mike Howard, Paul Tupai (c), Tom Jubb, Matt Hankin, Nick Fenton-Wells.

Reps: TJ Harris, Nico Steenkamp, Phil Boulton,  Ben Gulliver, Tom Armes, Darry Veenendaal,  Jake Sharp.
