Once again the B&I cup will give us a chance to get back to winning ways and to find a formula which moves us up the league ...
Ealing are the vistors this Saturday and, while neither side will field a first choice XV, it will give us a chance to build on a better show at Carnegie.
The second placed Tykes won 28-15 but we had our moments - specially in the second half while Trailfinders are doing well in third. We are second from bottom and that is not where we should be after last season's play-off place.

due to other commitments i shan't be attending but i have little faith that the B&I cup is doing much for Blues or the league in general. Quite why we seem to think it's a good plan to play 2 sides from the same league as us is beyond me?
Still don't understand why championship sides were stopped from taking part in the old "pilkington cup" ooh those were the days!.

Megagrumpyblue : yep much better competition, the Pilkington cup and shield. I remember The Bees beating Wasps. As you say, those were the days.
