The Entertainers

Three games in and we've scored 105 points - the Goldington Road regulars must be pleased with that. Unfotunately, fellow high flyers Ealing Trailfinders managed 45 points of their own on Saturday while we notched up 25 ..

It was our first defeat as the game set off at a frantic pace with three tries in the first ten minutes.

Dean Adamson got our first and he got another with Jordan Burns coming off the bench to cross. Harry Sheppard kicked two cons and two pens .

All good stuff, but perhaps we will have to be a little more controlled this Saturday when relegated Bristol visit. Thyey've won all three of their games so far and are just one point off the top.

Yes we are, but how can we loose our grip on the game that easily and play so badly in the second half at the weekend? It seems whoever did the half time talk had a negative impact. Why is it that we choose to play a premiership quality player (available to us) for the last 15 or so minutes of the game..... madness. Also why change our front row that has worked so well in the first couple of games for the sake of it.... Rayer has a lot to answer for!

You can't play the same team every week. The 2 new props were signed to be starters. Our squad does look light in certain positions so rest now and again is required if we are to manage them through a season.

It seems in 10 mins we they scored 19 points and then it's tough to come back.
