Half Way

Let's hope Mike Rayer and his troops enjoy a better second half to the season - w are still in second bottom place but things look like they may be on the up.
Jersey Reds are the opposition at Goldington Road (Saturday kick off 3.00) and arrive in 4th place although their form slipped a little at the end of 2019.
The Blues have a handful of changes up front from last week's narrow defeat at Pirates.
Jordan Onojaife and Ed Taylor return in the second row and Olie Curry will be at blindside. Alafoti Fa’osiliva replaces Dan Temm at number 8 and Lewis Robling starts on the bench after his injury.
Sam Leeming will be at inside centre with Rich Lane at full back, as we have lost Pete Lydon who is back at Trailfinders to cover injuries.
Blues: 15 Rich Lane, 14 Ryan Hutler, 13 Oskar Hirskyj-Douglas, 12 Sam Leeming, 11 Matt Worley, 10 Will Hooley (Capt), 9 Grayson Hart, 1 Joe Wrafter, 2 Charlie Clare, 3 Henry Paul , 4 Jordan Onojaife, 5 Ed Taylor, 6 Oli Curry, 7 Joe Atkinson, 8 Alafoti Fa’osiliva .
Reps: Robbie Smith, Sean McCarthy, Alex Penny, Will Carrick Smith, Huw Worthington, James Lennon, Lewis Robling, Pat Tapley.

There were the usual Blues problem with lineouts etc.....I agree with comments elsewhere we don't tend to ‘cultivate’ the referee Jersey certainly did and it worked at well for them at the scrum....
.....the farce bit was the regularity with which the Islanders seemed to get injured this incensed many in the stand.....
....the tragedy for the visitors was the way in which the choreography fell apart at the end when the referee awarded us a penalty.....
......the thriller was when the Blues pounced at the end in true Blues style.....
......the musical well that came from the pages of The Sound of Music.....the bells......which in my humble opinion got the Blues Supporters warmed up and even more vocal.......
......the boys in Blues Blue are far from perfect......but they are back ......ding a ling a ling.......
