A win over Coventry at Goldington Road this coming Friday is much needed if Blues' interest in the Championship Cup is to continue folllwing the opening round defeat at London Scottish.

Blues had every opportunbity to win the opener but failed to take advantage of their territorial advantage allowing the exiles to take a 26-17 win.

It was 21-3 at the break and harsh words led to some better finishing with tries from Garside and Tapley. 

Coventry will arrive in bottom place in Pool 2 having gone down 22-15 at Doncaster.
