Those who think Trailfinders are a shoe-in for promotion may need to think again. Jersey Reds are unbeaten in the league and their tenth victims were a Blues side which had been going well. 

However, all the Blues had to show for their considerable efforts was a last minute breakaway try from Jake Garside by which point the Reds had scored 45 of their own.

The home side went top but Trailfinders have a game in hand while Blues are in 4th ahead of the Boxing Day derby against tenth placed Ampthill. Trailfinders and Jersey meet at Ealing on Christmas Eve - the Championship is alive and kicking.
