We are down to the last 16 of the Champiopns Cupo and all you can ask for is a home game - even if it is against star studded Clermont Auvergne.

Let's get the French side out of the way first. 

Their backs look a bit tasty. France wings Alivereti Raka and Damian Penaud and  Japan full-back Kotaro Matsushima are extremnely dangerous. Theyve also got  Wesley Fofana and George Moalaion the centtree and the expcerienced Camille Lopez at stad-off.

We haven't been at our best in recent weeks so now is the time to realise our potential, surely.

Paolo Odogwu is back after spending two fruitless months with England - Eddie that can't be the way to treat an up and coming player.

In a must win game Jacob Umaga comes in at No.10 with Brad Shields at No.8 because of Alfie Barbeary's calf injury. The winner will have the dubious honour of facing Munster or Toulouse. Great stuff.

Clermont: Matsushima; Penaud, Moala, Fofana, Raka; Lopez, Bezy; Ravai, Pelissie, Ojovan, Jedrasiak, Vahaamahina, Cancoriet, Fischer, Lee

Replacements: Fourcade, Bibi Biziwu, Slimani, Lanen, Yato, Parra, Nanai-Williams, Bethan.

Nice to see teams try and play rugby- hope today's victors do well in the rest of the event- they play some lovely stuff.
A few prem teams should take note.
