NUNEATON produced a professional display to defeat a Darlington side who have a solitary win in their league so far. Rickie Aley booted a 18th-minute penalty for the Nuns and six minutes later Ian Critchley extended the lead, touching down after a rolling maul.Aley converted. But shortly afterwards Aley's clearance was charged down and Jon Benson profited to score a Darlington try, which
Ben Snook converted.
Nuns' Aaron Takarangi proved more elusive on 38 minutes with a try in the corner, and he led the injury-time cha rge from his own half that eventually saw Hugh Thomas touch down.
Aley kicked both conversions.
Tries from Will Cave and two from Gary Holmes gave the Nuns control after the break, despite Snook's penalty.
Darlington's Luke Monument went over on 68 minutes, converted by Snook, before Aley kicked a 74th-minute penalty.
