Look. No Mud!
ONE OF THE things that always, always mark out a sopping wet weekend at the Butts is the sight of forty-odd souls traipsing off the pitch after a mud-fest.
One down and one to go. Obviously that's the two 'Toughies' that we're in the middle of.
A Couple of Toughies
It's been a down and up season so far. A slightly disappointing loss in the Channel Islands, followed by a decent enough win over near-ish neighbours Bedford, and a solid one over Leeds built quite nicely on pre-season and the Championship Cup block.
IT TOOK a while, and we were all on the edge of our (metaphorical or not) seats by that time, but the Cov Dog finally put in an appearance with about ten minutes of a frustrating, error-strewn, yet perversely entertaining match remaining.
COVENTRY Rugby's Twitter feed talked of the blue and whites being victim of a 'smash and grab raid' by Jersey Reds in the first league fixture of the new Championship campaign.
