NUNEATON shrugged off the loss of leading try scorer Will Cave to maintain their relentless pace at the top of National League Three North. Cave had to retire with a knee injury midway through the first period but the Nuns had already taken control by that stage and went on to secure their bonus point. and scrum-half Huw Thomas in the 19th before adding one himself after switching from fly-half to full-back. Thomas also landed a brace of first-half penalties and Aaron Takarangi forced his way over the line two minutes into the second period before Nuns took their foot off the gas.
