Stourbridge duo Billig and Gerry handed Twickenham

Stourbridge pair Adam Billig and Ben Gerry have been included in the England Counties XV squad for their game against France Amateurs at Twickenham this Sunday. Centre Billig and hooker Gerry, who both played for Leicester and Birmingham & Solihull before they joined Stourbridge, were involved in the 13-13 draw against an Ireland Clubs XV at Donnybrook two weeks ago.

Although neither has yet played county rugby for North Midlands, both are likely to be in contention for places in the county squad for this season’s County Championship Shield campaign. It only features players with ambitions to represent the England Counties XV on this summer’s tour to Japan and Korea.
