Hinckley land tough draw

HAVING launched their defence of the Investabroad Properties National Colts Cup with a 34-7 win against neighbours Oadby Wyggestonians, Hinckley have drawn a second-round trip to Scunthorpe. In the Midlands West section, Leamington are at home to Moseley, winners of the inaugural competition in 1998.

Midlands East - Second round : Oundle or Coalville v Peterborough, Nottingham Boots Corsairs v Leighton Buzzard, Bletchley v Old Northamptonians, Daventry or Ampthill v Bedford Blues, Bedford Athletic v Market Harborough, Scunthorpe v Hinckley, Melton Mowbray v Syston, Vipers v Dunstablians.

Midlands West - Second round: (to be played on or before October 18): Burton v Shrewsbury, Stourbridge v Rugby Lions, Dudley Kingswinford v Old Coventrians, Worcester Wanderers v Bromsgrove, Leamington v Moseley, Nuneaton v Willenhall or Silhillians, Kenilworth v Old Halesonians, Lichfield or Earlsdon v Warley.
