Coventry Rugby Team for Tynedale.

Phil Maynard Coventry's Director of Rugby has named the team for the first NL1 match, away against Tynedale on Saturday 4th September kickoff 3pm. The squad includes new signings Tom Harris and Alex Nash from Rugby Lions , as well as Brett Daynes from Bedford Blues. Tom Warren, loosehead prop also joins on dual registration from Northampton Saints Academy.

wonder why no parry or johnson ? very youthful, but potentially exciting three-quarters.
any more info on daynes and warren, tom ?
2 flankers, no 2nd row on the bench.

I expect at least one of the backrowers is capable of playing lock (doesn't take much brain-power after all, and I should know...). (Sm56)

One can only assume that Kurt, Parry and Pearson are either injured or still soaking up some rays. Pity, but it's a good chance to assess strength in depth (or - hopefully not - lack thereof).

Kurt is only just back from a rather special holiday. Lee is injured, but hopes it will only take a short recovery.
