so, with the exception of bradley and kolakowski, the guests aren't potential signings but just shirt fillers?

Any news on how the team played, any individuals push for a place in the starting squad, who scored?

very brief report on another thread. there was 1 change to the starting lineup given above with Matt Bradley unavailable and replaced by Rugby Lions Joe Shore.
A solid team performance in 1st half disrupted by changes in 2nd. Tackling went well in 1st aprt from moseley 1st try. Coventry's back row also went well as did the scrum, great to see mose scrum going backwards at a rate of knots. Guest lock Pete Kolalowski was impressive around the field making tackles and breaking the game line when he had the ball, also made a nuisance of himself in lineout( finished off with a black eye for his troubles)
overall not a bad performance against an experienced Mose back division.
mention about crowd just as big than those crowds at Barking and Blaydon, despite the bitterly cold weather.
gregson scored try in 1st half, the 2ns was scored after a 30 m rolling maiul-couldnt see who scored.penalties by Challis and Higgins and ANOther. it was almost impossible to read players nos on both sides also some players swopped jerseys.

I was at the BPA last night for the Nighthawks game and i have to say the size of the crowd was impressive. I thought there would only be a handful of people there, but i would say there must have been 300 people there. Cov had a strong first half and did show some glimpses of good stuff in the second but were let down by poor tackling once again!

yeah, very poor tackling in second half costing 2 tries.imo no one really stood out as aprime candidate for the 1st team ,though the scrum did have the upper hand at least 2 were lost against the head. interesting to see ronnie mclean back. i assume johnson & parry are both still injured as neither appeared.

Yes. I think both were there - Kurt certainly was and I heard that Lee was too.

I heard Kurt saying he only trained for 1 hour in the last 5 weeks so he wasn't ready to play again?

Good ball-retention and final lay-off pass for the first Cov try... and excellent scrummaging and mauling work from the Cov pack for their second try too.
But I can see what people say when they talk of missed tackles for the Moseley tries...sheesh.
