The Coventry Rugby team to face Launceston away this Saturday, kick off 2.30 at Polson Bridge, has just been announced. It shows 2 changes from the starting line-up that came back well against Wharfedale to record a deserved victory.
Ben Russell has not recovered from a dead leg, and is replaced by the experienced Mike Walls, who played in this position as his replacement against Wharfedale.
Last week’s serious injuries to centres Nat McDonald and Todd Freemantle has resulted in Andy McGrory, who played in last month’s Nighthawks game to come in as inside centre.
Andy McGrory , aged 24, a hard tackling back who has played for Nuneaton, Broad Street, and Rugby Lions, as well as Coventry Bears RL side and Ireland “A” RL team.
On the replacements bench, Matt Mountford, who can play in the backs including fullback, is recalled from loan at Kenilworth, and Elliott Read returns after injury. Luke Beales comes in for Adam Parkins.

We need to bog them down, keep the ball and play a clever game, pick them off when they attack us and hit them hard on the counter.
Not an easy task against this team, who are playing quite well at home and have pushed some of the top teams very hard.
