Cinderford v Coventry Rugby match preview

This Saturday 15th January, kick off 2.30, Coventry Rugby visit the Forest of Dean to meet Cinderford, at The Recreation Ground, Dockham Road, Cinderford. Cinderford founded in 1886, will be looking to avenge their early season reverse by Coventry 55-5.
The home side, who finished 12th last season in NL1 , are struggling this season in 15th position, on 18 points, with only 3 wins and 10 losses. Since their early season wins over Macclesfield, Blaydon and Wharfedale, Cinderford have lost their last 7 games, including last weeks 27-10 away to Macclesfield, yet they narrowly lost at home 22-25 to league favourites London Scottish.
Coached by Gloucester stalwart Andy Deacon and assisted by Jake Boer, they have maintained their links with Gloucester Premiership rugby, as well as Hartpury College. With their main playmaker Mark Woodrow recently going back to Birmingham/ Solihull, fullback Danny Trigg has taken over the goal kicking role. Other players to note are winger Nevarro Codlin and experienced lock Chris Jones.
Coventry will be looking to complete their first double of the season, as well as only their 2nd away win of the season, whilst Cinderford will be looking to get back onto winning ways. Another high scoring and entertaining match is expected.
