Two more renew their ties with Coventry Rugby.

Coventry Rugby are pleased to announce that two further members from last season’s squad have signed on again for Coventry.

 

Dale Ager, who plays hooker and joined Coventry from Leicester Lions, had been almost an ever present in the side until a broken wrist towards the end of the season curtailed his appearances. Nevertheless, Dale made 24 appearances including those as replacement, scoring 7 tries making him joint top try scorer from the Coventry front row, with Tom Warren. Overall an impressive debut season for Dale at this level, prominent both in the scrum and around the field.

Matt Tibbatts joined Coventry Rugby from Moseley last season, making 18 appearances including those as replacement, and in the process scored 3 tries. Matt a backrow forward, but has also played as lock, has recently been playing at No 8 for Warwickshire. Matt an abrasive forward gives Coventry Rugby some much needed alternatives in the back row.
