OLD Coventrians will launch their weekly touch rugby sessions, which form part of the O2 Touch programme, a major initiative sponsored by O2 and the RFU, on Saturday.

The session starts at noon and is open to all and will be followed by weekly touch rugby sessions at Tile Hill Lane every Tuesday at 7pm from August 16 to October 18 to take in the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

“Any initiative which encourages people to become more active must be welcomed,” Old Coventrians captain Kevin Grace.

“Rugby doesn’t have to be a full-contact sport and the O2 Touch programme enables everyone, young or old, male or female, to have a go, get fit and have fun.”
