Coventry Rugby are pleased to announce the signing of three players. Khrist Kopetsky comes in from French side Blagnac, whilst Championship side Moseley provide Callum Macburnie and Michael Gillick both on dual registration.

Khrist Kopetsky aged 30, comes in from French 1st Division side Blagnac. Equally at home either at scrum half or flyhalf, Khrist is an experienced player having played international 7’s for France. He has also played for top French sides Pau, Agen, Begley-Bordeaux, and was a team mate of Benji Dechartres at Tarbes-Pyrenees.

Also a goalkicker, Khrist is looking forward to making a mark in the English game.

Callum Macburnie aged 22, comes in on dual registration from Championship club Moseley. Callum who is a centre, was also a Scottish U 20’s international. Born in Oxford Callum attended Hartpury College and is looking forward to some regular rugby for Coventry.

Michael Gillick aged 21 also comes in from Moseley on dual registration. Michael can play in most back positions but is mainly a wing or centre. Born in Nottingham he was previously at Leicester Academy.

Michael is enjoying his attachment to Coventry and looks forward to regular team rugby.

Why now?
Why not?
I'm confused by your question TBH.
We have little strength in depth (very adequately demonstrated following the losses of Luke and Alex), and this appears to address some of the shortfall going into the last third of the season. We certainly don't want to be dragged into a late scrap at the bottom.
