Ealing disappointment, says coach Pete Glackin.

PETE Glackin has outlined Coventry’s determination to put right not only last weekend’s deflating National One opener but their recent record at Cinderford as well.

Cov travel to the Forest of Dean on Saturday, where they have not scored a point in their previous two visits.

They do so on the back of the humbling 37-13 hammering dished out by Ealing a few days ago and in the light of that start, a trip to Dockham Road might not have been Coventry’s first choice.

Particularly given the fact they were beaten 44-0 on the final day of last term and shut out 26-0 in January 2011.

But backs coach Glackin insists the Blue and Whites will not be fazed by the prospect. “We have done horrendously down there in the last two seasons but we are confident we are going to go there and perform – especially on the back of last week,” he said.
