The Coventry Rugby team to face Esher at home the Butts Park Arena this Wednesday 17th April at 8 pm has just been announced. It is expected to show 7 changes including 5 positional ones from the side that lost away at Blaydon on Saturday but still managed to get the crucial try bonus point.
Cliffie Hodgson comes back to his more usual fullback position in place to Tom Collins who is on International duty with Will Maisey back at fly half, whilst Andy Murray, who scored at Blaydon starts on the wing for Tom Harris who is named amongst the 6 replacements which will be reduced to 5 after training. In the centre James Otutaha is recalled from his loan at Broad Street in place of the injured Heath Stevens. Both locks are changed with Scott Morgan and Tom Poole both coming in for Danny Wright and Sam Herrington who are both named amongst the replacements.
There is a swop at hooker as Matt Price comes in off the bench in exchange for Davy McGregor, and Rob Dugard comes in on the bench in place of Nico Steenkamp.

I agree CharlieBravo, although after being at Broadstreet for so long I hope they aren't expecting miracles when he hasn't even trained with the squad!
I find it odd that they are trying to build a squad but hardly use the players that are signed for next season, does any one have a list of who actually is signed for next season?
disappointing that stevens and the loan winger are out.imo stevens has been our most threatening attacker and the new wing has real pace.the team lin eup look slike its built around a tight game , lets hope its wet!!
funny that tonker mentions the 1 best players as heath and collins... 2 players that werent signed at the start of the season!?!!

Great handling from both sides in extreme conditions. Cov's best home performance this season for me, but why didn't Esher kick more in the second half? They had a couple of kicks go out on the full and ran everything after that.
