Coventry Rugby renew ties with Will Hurrell.

Coventry Rugby are pleased to announce that they have signed winger Will Hurrell from Stourbridge Saxons.
Will aged 23, was previously at Coventry Rugby between November 2008 and December 2010, being on loan from Leicester Academy. After leaving Coventry he was sent on loan to Championship side Doncaster Knights. A season then followed 2011/12 at Championship side London Welsh in their Premiership promotion season. Will was then recruited by another Championship side Rotherham Titans but then Stourbridge Saxons came along at the start of last season, which gave him a chance to play in the same side as his brother Rob, as they attempted to return immediately back to National League 1.
Much against the odds Stourbridge lost their play-off game and Will has now jumped at the chance to re-join Coventry Rugby as they show their intentions by recruiting experienced and proven players. Will although primarily a wing can also play inside centre. A hard running back Will was an ever present at Stourbridge last season making 31 appearances and scoring 14 tries, and will provide a strong running option amongst the Coventry backs.

Btw. Good win for a young England team v Argentina. Led brilliantly by Tom Wood who showed calmness and maturity far beyond his years. An even better player than Danny Grewcock and a credit to Coventry.
