Coventry Rugby re-sign Danny Wright.

Coventry Rugby are pleased to confirm that second row lock forward Danny Wright has signed on again for the coming season, their  17th player retained  or re-signed from last season.

Danny, aged 24, born in Gloucester, attended Gloucester Academy and received representative honours playing for England U18’s and U 20’s. Danny then had a short period at Stade Francais before being recruited by Birmingham Solihull in 2010 and then moved to the ill-fated Rugby Lions in season 2011/12. He joined Coventry Rugby last season and made 24 appearances in total including 11 starts, and scoring one try.

A fast mobile hard working second row forward Danny joins up with his main second row partners from last season, Scott Morgan and Tom Poole, and he very much looks forward to helping Coventry Rugby in their quest for  a much improved league position.
