Coventry Rugby team announced to face Old Albanian.

The Coventry Rugby team to face Old Albanian at home at the Butts Park Arena, kick off 3pm this Saturday 12th October has just been announced. 

Following the disappointment over last week’s defeat at Blaydon there are no less than 6 changes in the starting line up with a further 2 on the replacements bench. There is a complete change at half back with Matt Jones making his first league start partnering Lewis Barker, whilst there is a recall of Liam Munro from loan at Broadstreet in replacement of Rob Nash. In the centre Barry Davies returns in place of James Otutaha.

yes, strange to drop outaha, as he has been our best tackler & makes the hard yards. with munro coming back they must be looking for more mobility against a team that last year threw the ball about. i have watched him acouple of times this year at broadstreet and he looked fit, though obviously its adifferent level.
lets hope for a dry day so we don tneed the extra muscle of nash , outaha and the other young second row.
will be interesting to see if the new flyhalf can implement the coaches game plan!

James Otutaha had a nasty injury to the inside of his mouth which required a visit to A and E and stitches last Saturday. Mrs O posted a photo on Twitter - it looked pretty impressive and I would imagine it is sufficiently serious not to allow him to play.

Old Albanians play a good brand of running rugby, and often score and concede a lot of points, so their defence can be found wanting.
