Some really interesting choices, especially on the bench...

Sam Pailor ex bedford signed for Doncaster
I seem to have missed the news about this signing and have been on Doncaster site to see his expectations having signed for them. Born in Swindon and his early rugby played ... guess where .......WALES. Any body else have any info?

It just seems odd that someone can turn up out of the blue and jump straight into the team?

Well, here's ">his showreel if you want so see what he looks like before tomorrow.

I would expect given his history that the coaches know rather more about him than we do - not out of the blue to him. More likely one of the side effects of larger crowd receipts than dufgeted for.

I trust we are not selecting / recruiting by U tube?

When will this stop? At this rate the squad will soon be 60+ !

Or even 78. And then perhaps you'll change the record?

I will post no more, but continue to fail to see how any degree of consistency can be achieved.

All teams have injuries, so that is the justification for big squads presumably. CRFC have a large squad but then still bring in others straight into the team?

Over and out, or else I shall find it difficult to remain positive.

Try going to the away games (Blaydon and Wharfedale) that would test your ability to remain positive

Kimbo. Just a little bit more composure towards the end and we would have busted 78.Yes we were damn good today.

r hess. Sam Pailor, our new number 40 performed rather well. In fact very well. As Jaques Le Roux is injured again it would seem that the club have acted quickly to cover his absence. Shrewd business,me thinks

Today, The feel good factor was off the scale. We were good. Very good.Off to Worthing next week in a totally positive frame of mind.

Was it just me then that thought whilst very good in attack - quite clinical in fact, they were atrocious in defence. Some of the tries let in were bordering comical.
That said, if we score as many tries (some very impressive ones) throughout the rest of the season, I am sure we will do well, and I can sort of forgive the defensive failures! Lastly, the lineout was not great, in fact very worrying at points.

This said, a very impressive attacking performance and was a joy to witness in the end.

Apart from first try conceded and then trying to play seven a side when 32.7 up, we then tightened up with Blackheath nilled in 2nd half.
