Coventry Rugby team announced to face Loughborough Students

The Coventry Rugby team has just been announced that faces Loughborough Students away at the University campus with an early 2pm kick off next Saturday 12th September.

The team shows just 2 changes from the starting line-up  that beat Wharfedale last Saturday, in the opening league fixture of the season. The injured centre James Tincknell has been replaced by Callum MacBurnie, with Cliffie Hodgson coming in for Scott Hamilton at full-back, who switches to the wing in place of the injured Ryan Hough. There are no changes amongst the forwards. Amongst the replacements Chad Thorne replaces Terry Sigley.

No surprises there really, apart from perhaps I would have preferred to have seen younger legs on the wing instead of Hamilton, against what is normally a speedy lough side. However I appreciate our options are quite limited due to injuries.

Just an observation, but i thought the team was announced after Thursday training session?
Hopefully i have slept through a complete day and tomorrow is Saturday :-)

Nige, I am quite pleased to see Scott as winger. He has got 2 very important aspects to his game, class and experience. His quick thinking is worth a yard or 2 of pace over a less experienced player
