Beware The Wounded Animal

This was definitely the wrong time to play a defiant Sarries. Desperate to start reeling in their huge 35 points penalty they came up against a Gloucester side which has been blowing hot and cold and this week we were decidely chilly.
It was jolly japes in the Shed as supporters waved their fake money at the visitors - but to no avail.
Sarries showed how to turn territory into points and machine like they came away with something out of every bit of it.
It was a member of the Vunipola clan - cousin Manu - who gave his side a 19th minute lead followed by a Nick Tompkins converted try.
We pulled a try back with Tom Marshall (left) chipping over the Saracens defence, kicking on and going over in the corner.
Howwver, we then gave away two more penalties to go in 16-5 down at the break.
Sarries increased their lewad thanks to Ben Earl being driven over before intense pressure saw Lews Ludlow get one back for Gloucs.
It wasn't enough against an outfit still missing its World Cup stars.
