At last something to cheer us up in these strange and dreadful times. When lives are safe and rugby returns Jonny May will once again be wearing the Cherry and White - unless some miracle happens and the Premiership resumes in some shape or form.
Thirty year old May has agreed to return to Kingsholm after his spell at Tigers where he scored 30 tries.
He leaves a club which may well have been relegated if Sarries had not been chucked out. But no blame can be attached to the England winger who returns to another club which has undoubtedly underachieved - at least in the latter stages of the truncated season.
With Sarrries hooker Jack Singleton joining for a full season things are still happening at Kingsholm. Rugby will return.
