Gloucs Hold Out

Gloucs repelled Pirates but it was close. The 36-28 scoreline was just about right and keeps the Cherry and Whites' hopes of retaining the Premiership Cup intact.

The visitors went aheadthrough Will Gibson’s converted try but Gloucs fought back with first half tries from Ollie Thorley and Max Knight.

Josh King crossed to give Pirates a second half lead and it was nip and tuck as Morgan Adderly-Jones forced his way over before Morgan Nelson and Jack Reeves also scored.

Pirates kept fighting and got their reward with a brace from Sol Moody.
