The Premiership Cup clash (not the right word) between Gloucs and Hartpury had the feel of an inter-club pre-season game and the wet and indy conditions didn't help. Honours were even with only 14 points scored.

Hartpury had a point to prove, albeit against an unfamilair looking Cherry and White side, and went ahead early on with Will Crane benefitting from a maul.

It was 7-0 to the "visitors" at oranges and some pride was restored dearly in the second half with a try from Olly Allport. Gloucs could have won the game at the death but George Barton was just wide with his penalty attempt.

No real worries for Gloucester (apart from Santi leaving at the end of the season to go to Bath) as they should qualify for a quarter final place from Pool E where they are second behind Chiefs.
