Good to see Wayne Barnes at Goldington Road playing his part in an enjoyable and sometimes close encounter with Hartpury. A game of two halves with Blues deservedly shading it 28-23 and closing the gap on the handful of clubs seprated by just one bonus point win.

Blues are back on track. After a very poor start to the season the fightback at London Scottish to win 24-17 was a massive boost.

Have we turned the corner? We should have won at Ampthill - only to go down 17-14 - but it was a much better performance and one we can build on when we host the same opoosition on Boxing Day in a far more important league game.
